Ms.Nirmala P.Rao (Expert) 19 October 2013

A validly executed notarized document issued by a FOREIGN NOTARY is valid in India if it is not in violation of Indian Law etc.Several court decisions are there including that of Supreme court on this aspect.. Moreover, Canada is a commonwealth country like India with similar laws and judicial precedents and hence notarized documents issued by a Foreign notary is valid in India.
