My house is under pagdi system in Mumbai in my wife's name.my wife expired recently.we have no children.how to transfer this house in my name.please advice me.my age is 82yrs.

Landlord has to issue rent receipt on your name , and matter over with same amount of rent and nominal permitted increase yearly

If landlord fails then you move to small cause Court to transfer tenancy on your name fixation of same old rent and mentioned in plaint your area and room s in possession

Ask the landlord to issue rent receipt in your name, if does not agree, discuss with local lawyer.
