If the power of attorney gives you the power to make agreement or sell the property you can make an agreement to sell with another person otherwise not.

Yes first one has to see the contents of the POA. The power vested through POA can only decide whether sell it or not.

First & foremost the POA must give U the power to sell the property. Secondly & equally important is that the POA must be Registered POA.

verify following things. are u family member or co-owner?if not then it should be backed with some agreement with consideration paid fully or partly with specific power of to do so.it is good to register to prove its genuinity ,but some s.s.c. case laws says it is not necessary. .
