Obtaining will from brother

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 15 January 2021 This query is : Resolved
My mother passed away 3 yrs back. She had left some land in my name as per her will. She had also left some land to my brother. Two separate wills were created. My brother has both wills and is not giving mine to me. He has shared a digital copy but the scanned copy is not clear. What are my legal options to get the will? Also, can I see his will to be sure there is no conflict?

Your brother can not claim any thing with out Probating the Will. Discuss with an Local Advocate in detail and serve an Legal Notice for your Claim in Properties with out mentioning of /about the Will which you had Not Seen Also.

As stated facts, your mother executed two (2) wills. But out of two Wills which is the last will only come into force.

Agree last will would prevail.

If your brother is not giving you your share / will, file case for partition. He may come forward with valid will if any.
