Mr. Chaitanya: Under Special marriage Act, it is written that the marriage under prohibited degree is not allowed. Isn't second cousin comes under the Prohibited degree? Please reply

Even if it is prohibited, if ur customs allow, then it cannot be called void.. because the Hindu Marriage Act itself adds the phrase ".. unless there is a custom to the contrary"...
