Maintenance cost for commercial office

Dear Sir,

I have an office in Thane wagle estate in Midc for which we have been overcharged for Maintenance cost and the Invoice doesnt show the breakdown of expenses and they are mentioning Common Maintenance Expense for the lumpsum amount.

Pls advise us asapj

You refuse to pay the maintenance amount until the break ups are given.
if there is an association by which such maintenance activities are taken up, you can demand the bylaws in this regard and verify that if the demand has a proper authorisation through the bylaws.
If it is an unjustified demand then you may refuse to pay, besides you can take it up legally if they try to injure you by disconnecting the essential services or any basic amenities

Secondly, in our locality maintenance cost is from Inr 10 to 15 psqft whereas our Society members charges us Inr 25psqft. This is very high to us.

If the charges are exorbitant and against law or natural justice, you may object and protest the same while refusing to pay the demanded high charges.
You can contemplate to initiate legal action subsequently if they put pressure.
