Liquor chocolates

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 18 November 2009 This query is : Resolved
I make chocolates out of my home in Bangalore. I am soon opening a shop exclusively for chocolates and would like to know if I can sell liquor chocolates without getting into any kind of legal trouble and if not then what do I need to do? Our liquor content is anywhere between 40-50% in the chocolates.

Take license from Excise & Taxation department of your area prior to starting it.

I am not an expert on the subject and this is not an advise.

I am surprised that chocolates can be made with alcohol content upto 40% to 50 %.

There certainly is a need for a law to regulate its sale.

God save our children.
