Could anyone please elaborate with examples, on the following terms used in court of law:



1. Notice of Motion

2. Stage - For Admission - Fresh

3. Stage - For Admission - After Notice (High on Board)


4. Writ Petition

1. NoM is a notice sent by a petitioner to the other parties to a suit / proceeding that he intends to move a particular court on a particular date for certain interim orders on the grounds as stated in the attached petition.
2.Some Appeals & other petitions require admission before it is heard at length e.g. SLP.When it is moved for the 1st. time, it is marked as Fresh.
3.Ditto as 2 but after the court directs notice to be served on the other parties.
4.Petitions to enforce Fundamental Rights moved before HC u/Art. 226 or before SC u/Art.32 of the Constitution of India.
