sir,

how to calculate the leave encashment , is there any differance between calculating leave encashment /vacation encashment and gratuity

The entitlement of leave encashment/vacation encashment and their caculations etc., are as per the policy guide lines of each institution. Gratuity is a part of terminal benefit for those who complete 5 years of continuous service in the institution and it is governed by Gratuity Act. Payment of gratuity is a statutory obligation.
