Dear all
I am pursuing CWA inter and i am interested to LLB or BL, But my situation is like this i cant leave my earnings since my parents are Dependent on me and i cant give regular attendance in regular course
Do any university allows for distance education for LLB . I am residing at Chennai INDIA

Dear Narayan,
I think at present you earning,it is good you are interested in law,you can avail law degree from distance learnig you can search this forum various members given datails for your query.But in legal profession you will face waiting period.Your parents are depending upon you, you can first take amission if you are interested in law.riven

no one any university allows for distance education for LLB because of llb is a full time course and govern by bar council's rule also.riven

Which unversity is giving distance education for law???? Please let me known ??? I hope ur right ,,, But i had searched for distance education which is not available to the best of my knowledge

Law degree through distance education is barred and Bar Council of India has not recognized such degrees. Hence there is no use in doing law degree through distance education.riven

No university offers a full-fledged 3-yr LLB through correspondence. However, the following law courses can be done through correspondence:
Annamalai University, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalinagar 608002. Courses: Bachelor of Academic Laws (3yrs) and Bachelor of General Laws (2yrs).
University Of Jammu, Directorate of Distance Education, New Campus, Jammu 180006. Course: LLB (Academic) (2yrs).
Kakatitya University, School of Distance Learning & Continuing Education, Warangal 506009. Course: Bachelor of General Laws (2yrs).
University Of Kashmir, Deptt. of Distance Education, Hazratbal Srinagar 190006. Course: LLB (Academic) (2yrs).
Madurai Kamraj University, Directorate of Distance Education, Palkalainagar, Madurai 625021. Course: Bachelor of General Laws (2yrs).
But due to statutory requirements, these courses are not recognised by the Bar Council of India and you will not be able to practice in a court of law after doing these courses.
