INFORMATION TO BE SOUGHT UNDER RTI ACT

Sir,(1) Can any one guide me as to what procedure is to be adopted to seek any information under the RTI Act?
(2) An Association formed and run by the members of the business community, can we seek information from association under the RTI Act?
(3) If answer is yes, than can any one provide me with an ruling of CIC or any other court in the matter.

The information from an association run by members of business community does not come within the purview of the Right to Information Act unless a public authority has access to the information relating to the said association as envisaged by the definition of the term "Information" given under 2[f] read with 2[j] of the RTI Act.

The quiry raised by me regarding information to be sought from an assocaiation run by the memebrs, the association is registered with registrar of co-operative society. Can one seek information from such association? Reply to this request at the earliest is awaited.

You can apply to the rigisterer of society for that information for that information.

My question is that, an association formed and run by its members ( association is registered with Registrar of Societies ), can one seek information under the RTI Act regarding activities and day to day affairs of the such association and can have information on accounts of the association?
