Illegal erection of Mobile tower.

There's a mobile tower erected at my locality by Airtel. How can we make sure that it is legal or illegal also what are the rules,regulations and guidelines to be followed for erection of mobile tower.

It is the situation in Mumbai

Without clearance from BMC, the tower would not have been erected. Please check with the BMC. If erected without permission, you can approach BMC to get that removed.

Send an RTI application to BMC asking the validity and details about the tower erected at your locality by Airtel.
