A partnership firm can be formed by creating a Deed of Partnership and getting it registered from the office of the Registrar of firm. The deed may be registered from the office of the Civil Registrar where land deeds are registered. This may be even unregistered-depending upon the circumstance and examination of the individual partner's financial health and capital employed. So far the proprietorship firm is concern- it does not require any registration. However, if you are going to operate in individual capacity(Trading Concern)- you must get TIN & CST no.in which your name shall be reflected as Proprietor.Income Tax shall also be filed in your own PAN.Other statutory compliance shall also be made as and when required.
