How to claim refund of excess amount paid towards Stamp Duty

I have by mistake paid an amount of Rs. 45000/- excess of stamp duty towards purchase of a property in Mumbai (Borivali). Please let me know how I cam claim the amount and what is the procedure to do it. Please also let me know where I need to approach in order to claim the same.

in tamilnadu,it is the tahsildhar,the revenue head of the taluk in the district is the auhtority where we can claim such refund. you can approach the officer in the similar status in your taluk in mumbai and seek refund.
