There is a cooperative society in haryana of which my mother was a member and she owned a plot in her name. I am the nominee in the records of the society. My mother expired and I have got the plot transferred in my name in the said cooperative society. Now my brothers and sisters are asking for their share in the property.
My question is very specific ie. for cooperative societies which are operating under the Haryana cooperative societies act 1984, as a 'nominee' of mother, what rights to I have over the said property of my mother??
(I believe that the word 'nominee' has different rights and titles in different acts)

Nominee under the mentioned Act has got the only right to get the property transferred in favour of all legal heirs of the deceased.
There is no other legal right of the nominee. Nomination is no equavalent to will even if the property was self acquired of your mother.
Nominee has similar meaning in all Acts in the like situation.

Nothing left to be added after the suggestion of Ld. Makkad.
