I have served 4 year and approx 9 month in Private organisation which has 6 days of working am i liable for Gratuity.
if yes please tell me how should i claim for same.

only after completion of five years you are eligible for gratuity

Yes. A minimum of five years service is compulsory to get gratuity.

Thanks for the valuable reply, but i had read somewhere one needs to complete 4 years and 8 month for gratuity so just wanted to confirm same.

You have not read wrong.
Write under proper acknowledgment to designated attorney of employer in HR/good offices of appointing authority,MD to supply you the 'Notice of Determination of Gratuity' , payment and requisite form if any....

If employer has not disbursed payment to eligible employee within 30days from LWD the employer is to tender interest @ 10%pa..

Hello Kumar Doab i didn't understood your reply , In this case can i claim for my Gratuity or not from the Company??
please let me know if yes then on what basis or Grounds.
