furious from BSNL service.

(Querist) 12 September 2009 This query is : Resolved
Hello Sir,

From last 15 days, i am suffering from the type of service provided by BSNL. Before 15 days, my BSNL landline got dead. i register complain at fault booking service, but there was no response from their side. i repetitively do the same thing for 3 times, but there is no action taken by BSNL staff member.

Can here anyone please guide me what do in this case?

I would also like to know that, is there any rule like "if phone is not working for more than 3 days, then we can get a relief in current month bill?".

Also please provide me a format of complain which i can send to their SDOP/General Manager for this kind of services.

Thanks in advance.riven

Dear Rajeshji,
Now file an application under Right to information Act 2005.
1. Seek information regarding the action taken report regarding your filed applications of complaint.
2. After the expiry of 30 days file First Appeal to Appellate Authority if no reply has been received by by you. If you got reply but are not satisfied then you can also file Second appeal to Central Information Commission/ State Information Commission.
I hope by filing application under RTI Act. Your work will be done by the authorities concerned.
In case you did not get complete information sought you have option to File complaint under Sec 18 of RTI Act.
In RTI act the Commissioner can intitiate action under Section 20(1)& 20(2) of RTI Act for not supplying you information @ of Rs. 250/- per day from the date of information is due up to the maximum of Rs 25,000/-
If the PIO will not provide you information then the consequences of not providing information have to be faced by him. So, in most of the cases due to pressure of getting penalty imposed on him he furnishes information. So, in this way your pending job will be done.
Still you did not come out with the type of information you need. If you come out with correct facts, members of this forum will be able to render the correct guidance.
So, first of all file the application under RTI Act, 2005 and rest assured.
