Casual advice may not probably help you in such an intentionally made serious case. So, you would need to engage a local lawyer to help you not only to solve your queries but also to fight the case effectively.

Definitely, your friend seems to be a target of deep conspiracy due to the egoistic and unethical act of the police. But, a very throughtful planning to fight against the atrocities of the police would be needed to be made, which would need long discussions on your point. Besides there would be a need to highlight the offence of the police to convince the judge also to make him book the culprit policemen for their nefarious activities. That is why, I have suggested you to take help from a local lawyer. It would be better ifyou hire some lawyer, who may also be expert in dealing with criminality of police.

Frankly speaking, if the hired lawyer refrains from discussing some vital points of the client to satisfy and convince him, I don't think that lawyer can prove to be reliable lawyer to the client, who pays him for his services.

U r definitely right Sir, but I have one question..:
Is the medical report accepted even though it came late with the charge sheet, n was not present in FIR..?? is it possible?

Your lawyer should vehemently object to the admission of that medical certificate, as an after thought by the police just to make a cover up story, if no mention was made earlier in the original charge sheet.

obviously if as said situations prevail then there can be a chance that the lawyer himself could be part of that conspiracy. just test his loyality or change the lawyer.

PS Sir, they mentioned something about it in the FIR, but there was no medical report at that time, so does that report benefit even it came very late only with charge sheet..?

Did Police have medical Report / Proved the Driver had alcohol in blood? What %?
In majority cases, Court favour Police if they are accused. They Managed Medical Reports as they daily deal with them. PP with Police;
"Pani me rahke Magar ki sath kitna ladoge?"
U have to defend ur case!
Only harassment, will not punish anyone, except if driver was proved drunk.

welcome Sir V R, Actually they tested the other guy thinking that he was the driver (though i know that the tested guy never drove a car in his whole life), but the police came to know only next day, when the actual driver confessed.). but i guess it was very late for them to test him.
Regarding medical report, they managed it with the charge sheet, but not with FIR atleast, besides there was no police as hurt on the day of producing before the magistrate, becz i was there at the time n saw no one, the police n PP just said something to the court, suddenly it was 307, otherwise i thought it'd be fine, so i went to help them, i was shocked..
So, is that late medical report of a danger..?
