can FIR be registered during pendency of complaint

It is not barred in law but, bad in the eye of law. Later If charge sheet is filed on this FIR during the pendency of complaint. Complaint will merge in state case and, it shall be tried as state case as prescribed in Sec 210 Cr.P.C.

on the issue i have got hold of one case precedent which vindicates your reply and that is PLD 1965 Azad Jammu and Kashmir 40. this case law is based on AIR 1932 Lah 579, AIR 1929 Bom 72, AIR 1923 Pat 547, AIR 1931 Mad 70.can u add to this research as i could not find case law after 1965.
