Filing of affidavit

Respected Sir,
Please tell me that in the matter of civil writ petition, can a respondent file an affidavit for and on behalf of himself and other respondents.

yes he can if he is so auhtorised by others.

He can file on his own behalf. To file on others behalf proper authorization needed.
