Hi this is shaikh my wife had filed a divorce application from lucknow and i had filed rcr under mohammedan law in mumbai as i never want to divorce her i want to forgive her what lies she had said about me becoz i love her, My family members then in november 2009 had accepted the summons which was sent by lucknow court any how i had attended 1 date and the next date is on 20 may 2010 i will attend the same as well,
Rcr summons had been issued twice 1 st time she refused to take it from the postman a remark mentioned on the packet 2nd time since then she is staying there informed by their neighbour but it is saying that the door is locked i dont know whether the postman gets the chai pani from them, now 2 dates in mumbai is already gone
My query is
1)Can i personally take a certified copy and give it in front of judge
2)What can i do to call her and her family here so that they will come for negotiation becoz her mother wants to get her daughter married after divorcing me.

1. You can ask the judge in Mumbai to get the summon served through the court itself where the divorce suit is pending.
2. In both the cases the court will at appropriate stage fix for reconciliation where your wife at least will have to participate in person.

Actually i want her to come back atleast if she has to come and attend in mumbai she will come for compromise as she doesnt want any expenses to occur once if she will come here she has to hire lawyer and will have to stay in mumbai on her own

Hello
On last date i attended my date in lucknow which was on 8th march and then i along with me also took the summon which was to be handed over to bailiff and they can deliver to my wife but on handing over to them they denied to take as hey were asking me to show authority to bring the summons and then they suggested me to send it to lucknow family court via courier or registered post favouring the principal judge but they recieved and denied saying they never recieved it.
Any how iam attending my case date on 21st may 2010 my question is can i hand over the certified copy of my case to my wife in front of judge will he entertain .
