please tell me the time limit for filing insurance claim under the Motor Vehicle Act for injuries suffered in an accident. How much compensation can be claimed for suffering a fracture?

No limitation period has been prescribed under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 for filing a claim petition by a third party for injuries sustained by him.

The 6 months limitation period has been removed w.e.f. 14th Nov 1994 i.e. sub section (3) of Section 166 has been omitted.
