Sir,
I had applied for Earned Leave for 15 days in order to take care of my ill 3 year old son . My office has issued me a letter stating that i should produce a medical certificate stating the illness of my son. As per the govt of india Rules, am i required to submit any medical certifcate of my son , in order to avail my leave.

SIR,
KINDLY NOTE THAT
1.EMPLOYMENT IS A CONTRACT BETWEEN EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE.THOUGH THERE ARE SPECIFIC PROVISIONS REGARDING LEAVE,SEVERAL EMPLOYEES MAY APPLY FOR LEAVE DURING SAME PERIOD AND THE GENUINE REASONS WITH SUPPORTING MEDICAL DOCUMENTS WILL GIVE PRIORITY TO YOUR LEAVE APPLICATION OVER OTHERS.SO DO NOT INVOLVE IN ANY UNNECESSARY DISCUSSIONS AND FIGHT WITH EMPLOYER AS IT MAY LEAD TO ADVERSE EFFECT IN YOUR FUTURE SERVICE.SO GOOD LUCK.
