How to get Legal Heir Certificate in Mumbai ?

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 24 February 2011 This query is : Resolved 
My father died intestate and we are 9 (Nine) legal heirs. Due to disputes / frauds two legal heirs are not moving ahead with the Letter of Administration filed in High Court in 2009 and due to this I am suffering. Pl. suggest a way to get Legal Heir Certificate in these circumstances. I know Tahsildars will not issue it as they do it only for Govt. employees. This is urgent pl., Regards.

you can file a petition your local civil court regarding lssue of legal heir certicicate
