Regarding TCS

Dear All,

I want to know that what is the liability of the Chartered Accountant in case of tax audit if client not deducted TCS and paid to Government on all of his sales made which is liable for TCS deduction and CA only give note regarding no deduction of TCS in his tax audit report ?

The job of Auditor is to identify the non compliances and report them in the Audit Report. how come they be held liable for non collection of TCS by the assessee?

The liability to collect TCS or deduct TDS is solely on the assessee.

He can be held under abetment for such act under IPC.
