withdrawal of written statement

Whether written statement filed in a suit alongwith counter claim can be withdrawn. If not whether only counter claim can be withdrawn?

Counter claim can be withdrawn as it itself constitues a seperate proceeding.

But written statement once filed cannot be withdrawn as it goes along with the suit.

If you want to withdraw written statement, it cannot be done specifically, but you may openly concede with the plaintiff and on that basis the suit will be decreed and all other claims, petitions will be dismissed since afterwards nothing survives in the main suit.
