bank notes & currency note

Resp. Sir/Ma'am
One rupee note is currency note & issued by govt. & other than 1 rupee note all notes are bank notes which are issued by RBI. Why such difference is made? Why RBI do not issue 1 rupee note & why same is issued by govt?

Obtain this information from RBI through RTI.

Sir nowaday there is no One Rupee note it is Coin minted by RBI .
