Hi,
I am planning to purchase a ready to move in flat from owner's share. The building has Occupancy certificate. I read in forums and also consulted a CA, about the applicability of ST and VAT. CA advised that no ST and VAT is applicable, only registration charges to be paid. Request the experts for their advise.

You may go through the conditions and recital of sale agreement and confirm if such expenses are to be borne by you or not, also show the papers to a lawyer for a proper opinion before purchasing the property.
