Sale of old plant and machinery

(Querist) 12 May 2012 This query is : Resolved
Dear sir,

Want documents need to be prepared when a partnership firm is willing to sale out its plant and machinery. The business did not run due to some circumstances now the company wants to sale all its machinery, equipment etc to some party individual. The land on which the plant and machinery is installed belongs to some other person and company took it on rent/lease basis.

thanks

You can sell out these plant and machinery and get payment through cross cheque or draft and pay due VAT and give them bill/invoice with the remark Old machinery and take recipt for delivery
Deepak Nair (Expert) 12 May 2012
No agreement is required in case of sale of machineries etc.
You can quote a price and if the party is willing to buy, then you can issue an invoice for the sale of the said machinaries. Please follow the advise of Mr.Suhail Siddiqui.

I agree with Ld. Nair.
