Sir, the property I am staying was purchased by my grandmother in her elder son's name (vilas doshi). She has got 4 sons.
Vilas, pramod, uday, kiran
The 7/12 is in vilas name. The property was developed in 1982 and expenses were borne by grandmother. all of the families except for Vilas and his family are staying in this place since then. It is a 3-storey apartment.
Now we staying in ground floor have only light bill in my father's name(Uday doshi) + ration card. My uncle (vilas) is not ready to transfer the property to the said names as decided verbally with grand parents.
What can we do? Also, what are the rights that we can exercise as he alone is looking to show the rights over the property.
Thanking you in advance

On whose name is important.
You have residence right, as residing for many years.
ask your wife to file DV ACT, FOR RESIDENCE, to protect that.

Look the property was bought with the funds of your Grandmother and every sons are residing their though the document is in the name of Vilas Doshi. SO you can better ask for partition of the property in metes and bounds with the legal heirs of your grandmother and your father's share absolutely.
