I have applied for RCR. In the first hearing my husband appeared and my lawyer askd fr counselling. Judge askd us to go to counselling on the same day. But he didnt come for counselling.
Is there any advantage for me in this regard?
I have filled DV case on him as well.

no advantage, again your case raise before the family court and continue your RCR case, if you interest to stay with him then why did you file DV case against him, so in this you will lose your RCR case, you must aware of the fact and nature of the case.

no i cant feel like that.,
dv case and rcr both are different proceedings.. [am i wrong sheik sir?]
no advantage in your husband's absence for counseling., again both of you to be sent to counseling on next hearing.,

Judge may again order for counselling. The report of the counsillor is mandatory in matrimonial proceedings.
If your husband again avoids counselling, the counsiller may give a report to that effect and the court can take appropriate action on the basis of the said report. Advantage to your side may be there, but no guaranteed advantage.
The DV case is not at all concerned with the counselling proceedings.

Counseling or reconciliation?
Absence for it is of no consideration except the defaulting party is bound to participate in reconciliation proceeding.
