Hi,
I am working Abroad and I got a call from India regarding the outstanding of Credit Card dues. Bank official told me that they got my number through any SKIP TRACING SYSTEM, which is done by their collection department.
Is it possible to trace the defaulter through any SKIP TRACING SYSTEM, what is SKIP TRACING SYSTEM, please clarify?
What are the steps bank will be able to take,after tracing my number? Is it going to effect my present abroad job?

Skip Tracing System is just a software which tests the alternative numbers to reach the party by skipping bad (non-acceptable/ workable) numbers one by one and trying another alternative number to reach the defaulter. More specifically, the invention concerns, in some aspects, systems for determining telephone numbers associated with a delinquent customer account.
However, besides notifying your case to CIBIL to affect your credit rating badly, they may try to collect its dues from you using all alternative methods, including the legal systems, i.e., filing a summary trial suit against you and getting decree etc. against you.
