i have completed my Bsc(IT). can i become a lawyer in Information Technology or some related areas. please suggest duration and steps.
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 25 May 2011
Yes. First one has to become a lawyer. For this one has to join a regular 3 Year LL.B. Course. Then appear in the All India Bar Council Examination.
Thereafter specialise in Information Technology area.

In addition to Mr. Ramachandran's advice, I can advise you to also attain deep knowledge about information technology to understand the complexity of the technology, its uses and abuses, and what type of offences people usually make and how to tackle that tendency.

hi there , the LLB was conducted on the course which deals with all legal Acts including IT ACT then a Master degree can be taken in IT ACT giving a specilisation in your desired subject.
