IT Exemption in Gratuity Enhancement upto 10 Lacs

Enhanced Gratuity is payable to those who are retired on or after 24th May 2010.This date was objected by many individuals who retired between 01-01-2006 to 23-05-2010.I am one of them. I would like to know whether the effective date revised or any representation of revision in progress? I am retired on 30-04-2009. Whether I can cliam Gratuity exemption up to 10 lacs?

There is no change or communication regarding change in the date.
