dear sir,
my query is as follows
1> my grand father expired, in his will he has clearly metioned that all his property has to be divided amongst his sons, and not to his daughters as in his life time he had given them enough
his daughter after his death also had given in writing in a legal document that they do not wish to claim any share, which has been probated in high court
1> now can his daughters claim a share in a their fathers HUF property
(p.s: the huf property was not self aquired property, it was inherited from my grandfathers father)
2> can my grand mother who is alive claim a share in that property
thank you sir

when grand your father died, how he acquired the said property and whether the said property was partitioned, if so when partition took place. these facts are relevant to answer your query.

Dear Anonymous,
Are you aware what is HUF and what is HUF property or simply saying that it is an HUF property?
Can you say as to who are the members of the particular HUF which you are referring to?
Are you aware that an HUF property cannot be given by way of WILL?
I think after getting a negative answer to your earlier query, now you want to fish out whether by saying that it is an HUF property a claim can be raised.
Please be clear with your query. This Forum is meant to answer straight queries and not for experimenting.
