hello Sir.. Suppose a general caste girl get marriage to scheduled caste boy, girl will get benefit of reservation??? Dear sir ,,, i am belongs to Sc caste nd my wife is from General caste... i want to know about her resevation in education and Govt jobs.. thanks... ravi

It is a repeated query. However I would like to opine that the wife cannot claim any benefit provided for persons belonging to Sc. The children born of such wedlock are entitled to such benefits. However in some states to encourage such marraiges,certain benefits have been provided. Please verify with your state govt if there is any such program available so that you can avail the same.

even the children of such marriage cannot claim the status of sc,as it depends on the mother's status generally.
