Possession Letter of flat to the land lords

Sir i found many sample possession letter for purchaesd flat
But i am one of the land lord who developd my porerty by a developer and as per agreement i got a flat and i wish to gift it to my son...
So in that case what will be the matter of the possession lettar, coz its not a purchesd property.

Dear Sir,
A possession letter is a document issued by the developer in favour of the buyer stating the date of possession of the property. It is issued after the developer gets a completion certificate from the designated authority. ... A possession letter does not make the buyer the legal owner of the property. You need not require possession certificate to transfer the property.
