While business process can be got patented, I do not know what do you mean by business model?
In any case, if you believe, that you have a patentable thing, better do not discuss or disclose such details in general public. Because once you discuss or disclose indiscriminately, then the matter will lose its patentability. THEREFORE, BETTER APPROACH A LAWYER / LAW FIRM WHICH IS PRACTISING IN IPR LAWS - discuss the matter and take things forward.

Research all the requirements to file the patent in India and u/d USPTO as well, I don't want the patenting authorities have any reason to reject my patent application, and so, I think its better that I equip my application such that everything thats technically and legally required is filed in the best format possible...

When you approach the lawyer, he will tell you as to what are all required. Slowly and steadily you can pick up the thread and gain experience. If you venture into research as to what are all required legally etc. etc., then I am afraid, you will forget your expert in designing.
