Imposing two Major Penalties simultaneously

Briefly I need advice regarding Imposition of penalties against one delinquent officer in two different Charge sheets. Inquiry report is against the charged official and Disciplinary authority is convinced with inquiry report.

in case two major penalty were imposed, then what will be the mode and how they have to be given effect including time factor.

You have not mentioned what each penalty specifies. In that case how a correct solution can be suggested. Even if the penalty is of the same nature for both the cases, but implication can be different.

No Punishment is yet decided by the Disciplinary Authority. On such issue they need advice that whether they can impose Major penalty having least implication over the career of CO. Like Stoppage of Increments of pay with Cumulative effect in both the cases. If both has to be imposed then in what order.

What i have in my mind is that both cases are different as two chargesheets have been issued separately. Now Disciplinary authority has to give separate decision with regard to each case. He may or may not impose same punishment in both cases.

Even in case V) or VI) punishment is imposed then how they have to be imposed.
