Dear sri Kapil,
The Service Tax paid on 'Input Service' utilised inrelationto manufacture of dutiable Goods can be utilised for payment of Central Excise Duty on the goods manufactured subject to obsevance of proper procedure and maintenance of records. The details can be gathered from CENVAT CREDIT RULES, 2004 which govern the availment and utilisation of Cenvat Credit including the Service Tax.
