Notary on a Document

(Querist) 30 March 2011 This query is : Resolved 
Can any one tell me,
1. Why are the documents notarize, what is the need ?
2. on which documents notary is done ?
3. Also is it mandatory to notarize all the MOU entered by the company ?

the notorised document is more authentic document. all documents need not be notorised but advisable.
