Sir i want to know what is the difference between collabarating the statement and proving statement are contradectary. with the example sir because i am layman ?

it is not collabarating: it is corroboration
it is not contradectary: It is Contradictory

corroboration means in the sense of linking with the facts one by one without any break.

contradictory means in the sense of the deviation from the earlier statement/written submissions by the witness or denying the same. The cross examination by the other side counsel will give the immediate points for contradiction
summation of contradictions are non-corroboration of facts.
