labour cess

we are a infra company, deducting Labour cess @ 1 % from the sub- contractor. Can anyone pl. tell me where to deposit the cess ? We are HO at Ahmedabad, and sites are at MH.

You are required to deposit the cess with the area Cess Collector of the State of Maharashtra. Pls check-up with Labour deptt. at Maharashtra.
