Change of DOB in passport

Dear Sir,

I want to know what is the process of correcting/ changing the DOB in the passport and what is procedure to file application before the JMFC for securing the order for change of DOB.
pls reply as soon as possible

file an affidavit along with the evidence of correct DOB to the concerned authority. The evidence of DOB should be that which is recognized by the Govt of India.

The issuing authority is the correcting authority. For correcting the DOB as such each atate has seperate rules and procedures. Ask to a local lawyer.
