Look in Family Court, it is something related to emotional feeling and attachment and the court are insisting for party to be present in each and every hearing so that reunion is possible instead of advocates.
Hence in family court party-in-person alone can file all petitions and every papers in court. The advocate shall file vakalath and assist the party in person in all hearings like framing written statement, arguing etc., There is no fowl play trust your lawyer.

1.YOU MAY DIRECTLY VERIFY THE COURT FILE BY REQUESTING THE CONCERNED COURT CLERK.
2.IT IS EXPERIENCED THAT IN CASE OF FAMILY DISPUTES BOTH THE PARTIES HAVE NO FAITH ON OTHER SIDE AND THEY DOUBT ALL CONCERNED ALSO.HENCE HELP YOURSELF IF YOU WANT TO SATISFY YOURSELF.
3.ANY ADVOCATE WILL TRY TO PROTECT THE INTERST OF HIS CLIENT BUT SOMETIMES IN CASE OF HIGHLY CONTESTED MATTERS PARTIES HAVE FEELING OF INSECURITY AND HENCE THEY CAN CONFIRM ANY DOUBT BY APPLYING FOR CERTIFIED COPIES FROM THE COURT .IT WILL SATISFY THEM
THANKS .
