To chancell the name

(Querist) 21 February 2010 This query is : Resolved 
MY friend is having two name at present. Some of his documents are in one name and some documents are in another name.How he can chancell one of the name ?

It seems that he was using 2 names by using the words 'alias'. If he wishes to keep one name only, he has to publish his intended name in the Newspapers and also get this published at his State's Gazette.

using 'alias' is betterone to avoid contraversy, otherwie you do as siva said.
