Kindly enlighten me regarding legal preposition in case a labourer who was direct employed for repair by a farmer in his field for some repairing work of his tubewell and later on died while working in well,is application us 12 of workmen compensation act is maintainable in this case.plz help

Yes. Application is maintainable under workman of compensation act in the given case.

If the death is due to electricution or drowning in the well, the LRs' of the deseased workman would be entitled for compensation.
