Regarding technical resignation in central govt. department

Sir/Madam,
I was auditor in CAG department and join the department on 17.12.2012 and took technical resignation on 14.02.2014. I am presently working as Inspector in CBEC department. My query is "Can I go back to CAG department"?

Once relinquished,it may not be possible to re-enter.Neverthless,you can send a request offering to join as a junior most and with initial starting salary.
