I have filed an RTI in an Govt. organization, accordingly I had received some information. But later on I found that the information which I had received does not have inward number available in the office. Now I think there is something wrong practices involved in this matter what should I do?

Dear Author, Just For your information in one RTI query the Concerned Authorities asked RS15000/- for documents which was paid.In turn the Applicant received 9000 plain white papers. So keep writing them till they reply perfectly.

Thank you very much, I'll file new application n will be in your contact. But still I have one question that, is there any provision in law by which keeping inward/outward register is bound to Govt. offices?

Thanks for so many Thanks It should be maintained but it is their Internal Procedures and there is no specific law for the same and that is the reason we normally send letters to govt authorities by Registered Post with acknowledgements
