What documents should I take from purchaser while seeling my car?

take payment by cheque . give receipt for payment made . if any loan on car furnish your loan staement . loan has to be paid before car would be transferred .NOc from finance company is necessary .

furnish him docuemnts that show rto tax insurance premium is fiull paid ,

What should I do to safeguard myself?
In case purchaser do not transefer car on his name.

Get undertaking that he is liable for any accident/ misuse / illegal use of car, and that he purchased the car and had taken delivery of it. Also get one PAN copy & driving Licence copy signed by him. Take clear Photo with name/ address and mobile no.
